  • Full Moon over Diani Beach

The nondescript Bazaar Shopping Center is set to become a vibrant entertainment hub with the opening of the FullMoon Nightclub this last weekend. The unmarked exterior does not give any hint of the cool exclusive vibe waiting inside the tastefully decorated air conditioned lounge.

Fullmoon was the premier nightclub with a fantastic discotheque in Shanzu, just past whitesands and is a favourite with many who want the pure nightclub experience and is now in Diani Beach.

From the setup, Fullmoon is now the largest Nightclub in Diani Beach with plenty of sitting/standing area, a dancefloor and 4, maybe 5 gogo poles on a podium 8 ft high. Club goers in Diani Beach will definitely enjoy this new spacious club and the crispy service that Fullmoon is known for.

In addition, quality mixing from Djs who actually know how to throw down hits should appeal to those who appreciate dance, trance, house, ragga and hiphop interspersed with local hits. Fullmoon promises to throw ‘sick’ parties in the coming weeks. Going from the last weekend’s events, they have set a very high standard and will be the club to beat.

What To Expect at the Full Moon

This is a general admission nightclub that charges or does not charge a cover depending on the event. From previous experience the cover is usually around Ksh. 200/$2.3.  As long as you can pay the cover and have proof of age, then you should get in to the party with no problems.

How to get to Full Moon Night Club

Fullmoon is now located at the Bazaar Shopping Centre, 500 metres from the Nakumatt junction, past Kaskazi hotel. Once you get to bazaar, find the round building and the biggest building at the extreme end.

Set up at the Full Moon Night Club

Getting to the door, it is an easy system where you pass through a security check by guards with metal detectors, then to the booth where you pay for a ticket and the bouncer lets you in. There is little waiting time and entry to the club is straighfoward. Once inside, there is the main lounge area and a dancefloor and also outdoor sitting at the verandar or the upstairs terrace.

    Full Moon Night Club Dresscode

If you are going out, always dress to kill. Fullmoon does not have strict dresscode as long as you keep it stylishly casual and chic for both ladies and gents.

Drinks at Full Moon Night Club

Beers start at Ksh. 180/$2.1, shots Ksh. 200/$2.3 and mixed drinks at Ksh. 350/$4.5. The service is quick and efficient both at the table and counter.diani beach Full Moon over Diani Beach
