I know you may have experienced this as well as I have after you had meat at your favorite restaurant or hotel in Diani Beach that was exceptionally tender and scrumptious. You decided to try out the recipe at home but didn’t taste as good and the meat was so tough your knife and fork appeared to be the wrong tools.
I am a meat lover and I have to confess that I kept trying out those recipes prior to discovering the technique I am about to disclose to you, the results were disastrous.

At one end of The Diani  Beach Shopping Center, lies an impressive white thatched building that is home to the well known Ngiri Bar & Restaurant.  The name is a Swahili derivative of the owners surname  - Geary. Ngiri is Swahili for warthog but this charming watering hole has nothing that will remind you of the hog apart from the sign at the entrance. The location is ideal and easy to access for those shopping at the centre with ample seats outside facing parking lot.

Welcome to Coral Spirit – Wasini Island Sunset Cruise

Dolphin Wonderland

For those who love the marine life, the Coral spirit  organises at your convenient time (our recommendation: 08:00 AM) trips to swim with dolphins. The trip starts with a picturesque drive south through local coast villages and a coconut plantations to Shimoni jetty. There, the coral reef  dhow crew will welcome and guide  the guest to a spacious wooden dhow to begin the voyage.

Sunset Cruise

While on deck, lay back and relax  on large, comfortable pillows enjoying a light breakfast.  The cruise takes you through the dolphin areas where you can stay and watch the dolphins for as long as you wish, and if you are lucky enough, they may join you for a swim in the marine park.

Snorkeling at Kisite Marine Park provides some of the best under water views in Africa, including corals, tropical fish and turtles.  Coral Spirit offers snorkeling for non swimmers, with life jackets and life rings. During your swim, the well trained guides attend to all the needs of the snorkelers.

Diani Beach hotels and lodges feature some of the best cuisines in the world and some actually play host to the best restaurants in Diani Beach. Gourmet travelers love sampling the very best everywhere they go.

You can dine to the very best of African servings, International and Sea cuisines prepared to perfection. This is without a doubt a must visit if you are on holiday at Diani

6. African Pot Restaurant- This restaurant caters for African dishes only and they don’t disappoint in variety and service delivery.

7. Nomad’s Open air restaurant – The setting is designed to invoke relaxation as you bite into the excellent sea cuisine on offer here. Set strategically on the white sands of Diani Beach, this restaurant is a favorite for romantic dinners with a back drop of whooshing ocean water sounds under a star lit sky.

8. Galaxy Chinese Restaurant – Chinese food reigns supreme here and reservations are the order of the day if you want to dine at this restaurant. Seafood straight out of the Ocean waters is the main attraction here.
