About the Resort

Leisure Lodge sits on the coral reefs along the Diani Beach, at the Kenyan South Coast, with a trully world class aura. Besides being a favourite holiday destination for German guests,the massive facility caters for guests of all walks and budgets at the four wings that comprise the resort’s 249 rooms and even encourages local guests with the affordable accommodation in the Bustani Garden and Bahari Superior wings.

The landscaping is glorious with beautiful winding rock paths all over the restaurant ensconced among the lush gardens.

Leisure Lodge Accomodation and facilities

The resort has a total of 249 rooms divided in the following wings ; Bahari Palm wing with 36 Standard rooms equipped with twin beds and balcony access, Bahari Superior wing with 104 Superior rooms with a choice of king size bed plus a single bed or twin beds. Bustani Garden boasting of 93 rooms that are spacious garden rooms, the Oasis Villa wing comprising 16 Oasis Villas with patios and private swimming pools for each cluster of 6 or 4 villas.

All rooms are air-conditioned with large en-suite bath, bathroom with dressing area and a hair dryer for extra amenities.

The facilities include conferencing and banqueting facilities,a business center with internet access.A hair and beauty Salon, a massage parlour and a health club. The hotel also has a shopping arcade.

Leisure Lodge Restaurants and bars

Leisure Lodge has 6 restaurants and several bars that are scattered all over the establishment you get to whet your appetite anywhere in world class style as you are spoilt for choice. The Panorama Restaurant serving theme night and chef’s specials  is a good place to start.

Bustani Garden Restaurant is a buffet restaurant while the Fisherman’s Cove is a la Carte restaurant and they too live to their billing particularly the Bustani restaurant. The Diani restaurant and Vilindini Restaurant with beautiful dinning areas are perfect for dinners.

The bars include the Bustani bar,Club pool bar,the coconut cove bar, the casino bar which opens from 9.00 p.m. each evening. The Oasis villa section, the suite section, the bahari and Bustani sections all had two pool bars serving top of the range drinks and cocktails.

Leisure Lodge Highlights

The service is amazing, you can’t complain if you have an excellent meal prepared by a chef who knows his business and served by people who cheerfully and execute their duties. The manager has been spotted doing the rounds, checking if the guests were doing fine.

It is the only resort with a golfcourse. This championship course hosts major tournaments for top corporates  and enjoys the enviable reputation as being one of the best upcoming golf courses in East Africa. It was recently recognized as the Finest Golf Resort and the Leisure Golf Club aims to remain among the top 3 best golf courses in Kenya.

Leisure Lodge flaws

Keeping everything in perfect working condition for such a massive establishment is definitely a massive task but you might find that the staff reserve beach beds and tables for some guests.

Leisure Lodge Activities

With the enormous space at its disposal, the resort can afford a myriad of activities. The most conspicuous is the hotel’s own golf course. The other resorts organise rounds for their guests here. A pro golf shop at the resort will provide all you may need. If golf is not your liking then you can gamble the night away at the hotel casino. You also have access to two tennis courts.

The hotel has a diving school where you can learn about deep sea diving. At the wind surfing school you can learn the tricks of this water sport. Beach volleyball, water polo and table tennis are also part of the activities menu here.
