The beach front rooms as expected are positioned directly before the sparkling Diani Beach and offer a telephone, TV, mini fridge,hairdryer ,air conditioning , mosquito nets, safety deposit box among other basic amenities.

The garden rooms that are also air conditioned, a patio and garden view delivers a relaxing settings.

The food at this Diani Beach establishment is amazing despite the absence of a la carte meals.  Visitors at the baobab restaurant will be pleased by the local and international cuisine served buffet style. Apparently the hotel advocates for a smart casual dress code at diner times. Men must wear collared shirts and long trousers in the evening while you can dress down at breakfast and lunch.

The zig zag bar and restaurant serves breakfast and lunch transforming at night into an entertainment spot complete with a barbeque and live music. At the pool and beach bars, you can get your favourite drink of local beer, soft drink, house spirit, house wine and mineral water, served by the glass.

Highlights

The management tries  to change the daily menu to accommodate everyone and provide some needed change that lacks elsewhere.  The cleanliness inside the hotel, and the flowers in the rooms  plus excellent customer care skills displayed by the staff at the hotel make it a pleasant place to stay.

Flaws

The air conditioning runs for a limited duration during the day which makes it plenty uncomfortable if you are in your room in the hot Diani Beach coastal weather . Maybe it is a way of getting the guests to spend more time outdoors.

Activities & facilities

Numerous activities are on offer for guests at the hotel. A variety of games that include beach fishing, wind surfing, tennis, pool scuba trials, indoors games, snorkeling, water polo and beach volleyball.

After diner guests can dance to a selection of various live African bands and traditional dances or listen to live performances by local musicians. They also have basic Swahili classes where you can learn the local language to improve your communication while in Kenya
