You are spoilt for choice when it comes to dining at the Southern Palms Beach Resort because they have a total of four restaurants each with a unique treat. The Boriti Snack bar that is an A la Carte restaurant open during the day serves light meals especially local cuisine. The Italian restaurant is open at dinner time and as the name suggests, anything Italian goes.

They have a lovely Lebanese restaurant also open at dinner time. This is a specialty restaurant with a menu that features Shirha (a Lebanese cuisine) seafood and a blend of local cuisine. What is exceptional about this restaurant is the fact that you can have a table set up by the beach on request.

To cap it all, the Southern Palms Beach Resort’s main restaurant has everything for everyone open for breakfast and lunch and offering daily themed nights. Meat lovers have a haven at the Manyatta that specializes in meat, fish and seafood grilled on a roaring fire.The wine list is top of the class and served at 5 bars spread out all over the hotel. There is a bar dubbed the Sargille Hookah Bar where you get to indulge in water pipe smoking.

All the 300 rooms are equipped with an electronic safe, spacious bathroom and a huge double bed. The view is also excellent either facing the swimming pools or the exquisite gardens. The Ocean front rooms usually require advance reservations.

Other amenities thrown in include TV and DVD players, coffee and tea making facilities plus a mini bar.

The service in general is commendable. No complains on service delivery by the staff who displayed excellent linguistic and communication skills which is in the very least, professional. The clean state of the rooms and grounds is outstanding .

Most of the rooms face the pools and when the pools are busy, the much needed quiet in your room is a challenge.
