Diani Beach is on the extreme south of Kenya. Fairly close to the point where Kenya/Tanzania border. If you don’t have the heart for the 8 hour bus ride from Nairobi. Then hop onto a light aircraft and fly to Diani in slightly over an hour. Diani is served by a small airstrip that has been upgraded with an all weather surface making it possible to run daily flights into and out of the resort town.The flights depart from Wilson Airport in Nairobi and are operated by Kenya’s domestic carriers namely Jetlink, Fly540 and Airkenya. Other privately chartered planes to and from Amboseli, Mhttp://dianilife.comasai Mara, Samburu, Lewa, Nanyuki and other parts of Kenya are available at the Diani Airport.Check in is 30 minutes for most of these domestic airlines with luggage allowance in the range of 15 kgs of personal baggage, including all hand baggage.
The airport is only a 3 minute drive away from the beach and is a snappy way to get your holiday started without the delays occasioned by transit. Taxi pickup from the airfield can be organised beforehand with the agent or hotel.
Ticket prices are in the $80-$100 range inclusive of taxes.
